Scavenger Hunt Post 6

A CAM plant is plant that undergoes a type of photosynthesis called crassulacean acid metabolism. In this type of photosynthesis carbon dioxide is only taken up at night. This cactus is an example of a CAM plant.
Dominant vs. Recessive Phenotype: Phenotype is the physical or biochemical characteristic determined by the genetic make up. The blue eyes are the example of the recessive phenotype and the brown eyes are the dominant phenotype.

Connective tissue is a type of biological tissue that supports, connects or separates different types of organs and tissues. Cartlidge, tendons and ligaments are all examples of connective tissue. Here is a picture of a knee which has all of these three connective tissues in it.
Territorial behavior is the actions by which an animal or a group of animals protects its territory from other animals. Here is my dog "protecting" the house when somebody comes inside.
Seed dispersal is the movement of seeds away from the parent plant. Animals, wind and water all play a part in moving seeds from place to place.
