Scavenger Hunt Post 3

C3 plants take in CO2 and then convert both CO2 and ribulose bisphosphate into 3-phosphoglycerate. This apple and orange are both examples of C3 plants.
Homeostasis is the ability of an orgasm to maintain internal equilibrium when the organism's environment changes. Dogs use panting as a way to cool themselves off when they are hot.
A C4 plant is a plant in which the CO2 is first fixed into a compound containing four carbon atoms before entering photosynthesis. Corn is an example of one.
A pollinator is a biotic agent that moves pollen from the male anthers of a flower to the the female stigma of a flower to accomplish fertilization. This bee is an example of a pollinator.
The anther and filament of stamen is where the pollen is produced and held until a pollinator comes to take the pollen to another flower. The anther is where the pollen is held and the stamen is the structure that holds the anther higher up so its more likely that a pollinator will collect the pollen.
